Nigel Rumsey
Master Chocolatier and founder Nigel Rumsey originally trained as a Patissere before going on to develop his award-winning range of handmade chocolates. The simple aim throughout his career has been to produce top quality products from the very finest ingredients. His favourite chocolate is Gin Tower.
Mary Rumsey
Nigel's wife Mary has been at the heart of Rumsey's since the very beginning. Running the 'business' so that Nigel could concrete on what he does best, being a chocolatier. Mary's early career as a teacher gave her a great ability to nurture the Rumsey's team as our chocolate family grew. Mary's favourite chocolate is Olde English.
William & George Rumsey
Nigel and Mary's two sons have grown up around chocolate (lucky them!). From working in the chocolateries, to helping their parents with all aspects of the business they are the biggest champions of Rumsey's. Will's favourite chocolate is Macadamia and George's is Ginger.
Kate Rumsey
Daughter-in-law Kate joined Rumsey's full time in 2016 and has used her background in marketing to ensure that Rumsey's continue to develop with the times. From launching an e-commerce platform to developing a future vision, Kate aims to ensure that Rumsey's remains an independant, family business for generations to come. Kate's favourite chocolate is a Praline Diamond.

Our extended family...
Pawel Szymanski
Head of Chocolate Pawel has perhaps the best job title of all! Pawel has been part of our Rumsey's family since 2006, trained by Nigel and now leading our chocolatiers and fulfilment team. Pawel's lovely wife Ewelina works in our Wendover chocolaterie. Pawel's favourite chocolate is Mexican Vanilla.
Karen Lumpkin
Chocolateries Manager Karen ensures all runs smoothly in both our Thame and Wendover chocolateries. Karen joined Rumsey's in 2007 and her favourite chocolate is Caramel Florentina.
Sarah Cornish
At last count Rumsey's employed almost 50 people, as our family grows Sarah has a busy job as our HR Manager, to oversee that we stay true to our values and our team are happy and fulfiled. Sarah's favourite chocolate is Praline Cocoa.
