From Friday 15th May our chocolateries will re-open as a takeaway.
Initially days and hours of opening will be slightly restricted to enable us to operate safely.
Wednesday - Sunday 9.30am to 4.30pm.
In order to operate safely we will only have a small team working therefore a few things may be different to your normal Rumsey's experience.
Social Distancing and Safety
Hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance, please use this or your own.
Floor markers will be used to ensure 2m distancing - please ensure you stick to this so that we can continue to open. If the floor markers inside the chocolaterie are in use, we kindly request you queue outside as guided.
There is a screen in front of the till.
Card only (and contactless payment preferred). We will not be accepting cash at this time.
Sadly no reusable cups can be taken at this time sorry.
Face coverings are advised but not mandatory.
NB. In line with government guidelines we are only making the use of face coverings optional for our team, but will support those who wish to wear one in order it is done correctly.
We are still also operating chocolate sales through our website to help us ensure that you can still enjoy a Rumsey’s experience during this uncertain time, or send it to friends and loved ones.
Our postal deliveries are sent first class, this ordinarily arrives next day, but due to the evolving nature of the current situation, your delivery may take longer than planned.
The shipping cost is £3.99 however if we are able to personally deliver your chocolate safely we will still do so as we are aware some areas are having delays with the postal service.
Please also be aware that there is a skeleton team at present so it is impacting how quickly we can respond to emails and process orders but we are working hard are aim to despatch within 3 days.
