Rumsey's Cocoa Pod School of Chocolate is a paradise for chocolate lovers. The new concept provides a Head Office for Rumseys with a modern production unit and demonstration kitchens. Rumsey’s Chocolate workshops are a great way to discover new talents, enjoy chocolate and de-stress!  Whether you are a novice or enjoy working in the kitchen, these courses are a great way to expand your knowledge of chocolate making.  We have a variety of courses for you to choose from, and the latest course additions to the calendar have been altered to allow for additional chocolate work to be included, and are all practical.  Why not contact us and ask about our weekend offers and overnight stays?  We can recommend several places to stay, restaurants to try out and places to visit too!

CHOCOLATE WORKSHOPS                   SEPTEMBER  -  DECEMBER 2010

1.5 Hour ‘Make & Go’ chocolate session £40.00 per person (please ask for discounted rate for bookings of 4 or more). These sessions are purely for fun, an ideal time to make something for yourself or a gift for someone special.

Half Day Chocolate Making Workshop - £65.00 per person.  (Please ask for discounted rate if 2 or more people book). Ideal as a first practical experience of chocolate cookery.

Welcome tea, coffee or hot and biscuits on arrival Learn how to make a chocolate figurine make your own plain truffles and use a variety of finishes make some chocolate decorations pack and wrap your chocolate goodies finish with a soft drink and some delicious nibbles.

Full Day Chocolate Making and Tempering Workshop - £130.00 per person.  Enjoy a full day of informative and practical chocolate making. If you need to practice the art of tempering chocolate you'll have plenty of opportunity.  This course is led by Nigel Rumsey or Pawel Szymanski.

Welcome tea, coffee or hot chocolate on arrival introduction to chocolate making, from the cocoa bean to the bar (dvd), information and practical on tempering chocolate Make a chocolate figurine, detailing the mould  You will be participating in a group session, making up to five different types of truffles/chocolates Enjoy our special lunch with a glass of wine or fruit juice Make some chocolate run outs which can be used for dessert decorations The finished items will be made into a display for you to photograph before packing and wrapping to take home
