Chocolate & Coffee Shops
Experience the delicious smell of hot chocolate and freshly ground coffee at Rumsey's two chocolateries. Close your eyes and you could almost be in Paris! Each shop is themed on the film 'Chocolat' and offers a wonderful range of cakes, pastries and hand-made chocolates.
Rumsey's are dedicated to producing foods of the highest quality which are fresh, home-made and use locally sourced ingredients. The menu includes pastries, lunches, cakes, tarts and a fantastic range of ice creams made to Nigel Rumsey's own secret recipe. Specials of the day include a wholesome soup and seasonal salad accompanied by fruit cordials or a select glass of house wine.
Each chocolaterie has a theatre where the hand-made chocolates are produced in front of your eyes whilst you sip from a mug of the house special hot chocolate and savour the offering of pure dark chocolate which accompanies every hot drink.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Every visit is a special treat and an essential pleasure for all chocolate lovers.
